FAD takes part in Open House Roma 2024
The FAD studio opens the doors of its world on 13 and 14 April 2024
The Open House event, devised by a group of architects specifically for lovers of design and architecture, has been a key event in the capital for several years now. This nine-day event celebrates the architectural beauties of Rome, offering free access - with guided tours - to sites normally closed to the public. This year we at FAD are thrilled to be opening the doors of the studio to make our world known.
But why should you visit our studio?
Because we are in a area of great urban and historical value, and also we would like to show you something of our own world, our work and creative processes. You can find us in the heart of Rome, a few steps from the Domus Aurea and the Colosseum. The studio itself is located in the religious institute of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny (Suore di San Giuseppe di Cluny), designed by Carimini for the French nuns. Over the years it became a small Renaissance citadel on a fortified polygonal foundation, and it is precisely in a part of that foundation that FAD is now a powerhouse of ideas, creativity, art and professionalism. We are ready to introduce you to every aspect of our studio, from its architecture - and therefore its context - to the inventive soul of our design business.We look forward to seeing you on:
